Dzema is Abiding Heart’s lovely dog. Ever since she joined our team in 2018 she has been bringing joy and love to staff, teachers, and students.

At Abiding Heart, Dzema teaches playfulness, letting go of stress, and leads the regular hikes in the woods! She also teaches that all beings have innate basic goodness and that we all want to be happy and be free from suffering. Dzema‘s style is experiential and every so often she presents what mental afflictions, such as attachment and craving, look like (with her food and slippers fixation).
