Tara the Feminine Divine

In this seven day retreat we weave together Buddhist teachings and meditation on Tara the feminine divine with Lama Dawa.

​

We will also learn the White Tara Charya dance (Buddhist ritual dance).

We will become familiar with the recitation, chanting and singing the supplications to Tara and her mantra. We contemplate the connection of this ritual dance, with Buddhist psychology and wellbeing.

During each day of the retreat Lama Dawa will weave together Buddhist teachings, meditation and contemplative practices, In addition, we will make two pilgrimages to temples dedicated to divine feminine wisdom deities. We will close the retreat by offering the dance to Tara in an ancient temple dedicated to her in old Kathmandu city.
